  • Always get the dirt from the last ride off the vehicle. Washing the dirt off will assure your vehicle will come out of storage looking good as new.
  • A cover will shield the freshly washed, dried and waxed car from attracting any other dirt that will be unfavorable for the exterior.
  • Due to the varying climate and inactive status of your vehicle the battery can lose its charge. Solve this by removing the battery and moving it to a location away from the wet and cold atmosphere
  • Sunlight is very detrimental to the paint and upholstery. Keep them looking fresh by finding a location with minimal direct rays.
  • Substitute all used fluids before storing. Oil is the most important one to change because used oil contains debris that can clog areas internally.
  • Choose a location with limited access to prevent any curious people.  You may not see your vehicle every day therefore, keep the location private to ward off any misbehavior.
  • Make it difficult for vermin to get into your detailed car by putting steel wool in openings. Using fabric softener sheets at the air vents on the windshield will prevent vermin and keep a fresh scent in the car
  • Over inflating or the use of props are both excellent methods to stop issues from forming with your tires. If over inflating it your method chosen remember to relieve the pressure before driving.
